Your data, explained

Privacy policy.

Last updated: 30 October 2026

SAVEROOM is developed and operated by Laura in the United Kingdom. This policy covers the current SAVEROOM app and this information website. Contact: admin@saveroom.uk.

Account authentication is connected to Supabase, but game collections and profiles currently remain on your device. Cloud collection sync, public social profiles and paid subscriptions are not enabled in this build. This policy will be updated before those services launch.

1. Information stored on your device

The app stores your chosen display name, bio, profile picture, ratings, wanted games, custom game entries, top four favourites, now-playing choice, entered playtime, preferences and game-addition allowance locally. These details are not currently uploaded as a cloud collection.

2. Account information

When you use email sign-in, your email address and verification information are processed by Supabase Auth to create and authenticate your account. Login emails are sent through Resend when configured. Authentication services may process IP addresses, request timestamps and security logs. The app does not ask you to create a password.

When Sign in with Apple is enabled, Apple provides an identity token and, subject to your choices, an email address or private relay address. Supabase verifies the token. Native authentication sessions are stored using the device’s secure storage. Website previews, if used, keep authentication sessions in browser session storage.

3. Photos and exports

Photo access is used when you choose a profile image. A copy is stored locally. Collection exports exclude the profile photo. If you share an export through another app, that app handles the copy under its own privacy practices.

4. Website and service providers

This website contains no advertising, analytics SDK, signup form or tracking cookies. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and may process connection information such as IP addresses and security logs to operate and protect its service. The site’s small interactive demonstration runs in your browser without sending your choices to us.

Our service providers include Supabase for authentication, Resend for transactional email and Cloudflare for website delivery. If you email support, your message is processed by our email provider, Proton. Providers may process information outside the UK, including under their applicable international transfer safeguards.

5. Why information is used

Account details are used to provide the sign-in service you request. Support messages are used to respond to your enquiry. Security information helps prevent abuse and keep services running. The relevant legal bases are performance of a contract for requested services and legitimate interests for support, security and service operation. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

6. Retention and deletion

Local collection data remains until you delete it in Settings, clear app storage or uninstall the app, subject to device backups. Authentication accounts remain until deleted. Support correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to resolve and reasonably follow up the issue. Infrastructure log retention follows provider settings and policies.

Deleting local app data or signing out does not delete a Supabase account. To request account deletion, email admin@saveroom.uk from the account email, with subject “SAVEROOM account deletion”. We may need to verify ownership. In-app account deletion is still being implemented for public release.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

8. Children

SAVEROOM is a general-audience game organiser, not a service specifically directed at children. We do not knowingly collect account information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate. An App Store content rating is not a minimum account age.

9. Changes

We will update this policy when our data practices change. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate, and the latest policy will remain available on this page.
